World Indigenous People's Day Festival celebration 2016

On Wednesday October 12, 2016, artist/percussionist Marcus Miller was invited to perform at the 19th annual Indigenous People's Day Festival at San Bernardino Valley College. The event featured a variety of performers including the Aztec dancers and drummers, a Samoan dancer, Capoiera Angola, a Peruvian fusion band, and Miller's solo drums. Enjoy this positive vibration!

An excerpt from a recent 2016 concert performance featuring the Marcus Miller Ensemble. The group performed the music of Miles Davis. In the bandstand, sits Dr. Alphonso White (trumpet, flugelhorn), Bobby Pierce (keyboards), Harvey Estrada (bass), Eric Garcia (guitar), Dexter Story (drums), and Marcus Miller (drums & percussion). The concert was a part of the Miles Davis exhibition at the William Grant Still art center in Los Angeles, CA.
